About Me - Hi!! Are you feeling overweight, tired, or simply unhealthy? Oh boy do we know it!! Steve and I started Take Shape For Life on the Medifast program mid January of this 2012. Steve is a diabetic and has been on insulin and pills for about 20 years now. Both of us were feeling sluggish and on top of that, we knew we needed to get a handle on our out of control eating habits. We have tried everything - Steve even tried the Lap Band to get some control to no avail. How did we learn about Take Shape for Life you ask? Two of our friends in our car club walked into our Club's New Years Eve party in 2011 and we had to take a second look! They looked like different people - they both had lost at least 20-30 pounds since I last saw them in October! I had to go drill them about their secret eating plan! They simply said It is easy! Follow the Take Shape For Life program, eat a sensible low glycemic meal every 2 - 3 hours and one Lean and Green meal a day! Well, I needed that in my life and now Steve and I are hooked and watching the health benefits multiply! Steve has gotten his blood sugar under control with the Take Shape For Life program in less than 2 months! Something he has not been able to do in years! He is not snoring like he did (thanks!!) and he is now able to work on his cars without missing a beat. We both feel so much better and we stick to this program because it works! I have been sending my big jeans to the Goodwill! It is a great feeling. I can work out harder at Irongloves Boxing Gym and look forward to adding more exercises, lifting more weights and adding more cardio mitt work! This program has been a blessing and we love to share our experiences with everyone!
